REVIEWS: L’oreal Micellar Water (blue)

Oh, hello there!

I’ve been looking for a great make up remover that will suit my skin and I found out about the Micellar Water of L’oreal. But before I share my experience – let’s first define what is Micellar Water (for those who didn’t know yet).

WHAT THE HECK IS MICELLAR WATER?

Okay, I did my research and according to HuffPost. Micellar water is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. … “The idea is that micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin,” she says.

It is super-trendy lately, so I decided to give it a try. I heard some good reviews about the product (if there’s a bad reviews I will still try it, though!) then I got curious since I’m looking for a better make up remover that suitable to my oily skin.

Let’s start with my experience…

I bought the blue cover which is Refreshing – for oily to combination skin (my skin type) and they also have Moisturizing the pink cover which is suit to dry and combination skin. I’m glad I was able to buy this on sale, for only P 157.00 and you’ll get the bottle of 250ml but the original price is P 225.00 and for the price of 400ml it is P 349.00. For other references you can check out their official store at Lazada (where I bought the product) and it is also available at all leading stores.

As you can see in the picture above – It looks small (if you compared it to Maybeline Micellar Water) but it’s 250ml  and I guess you can use it for longer a month. Well, I think it depends on how often you put make up on your face (I’ll give an update of how long It will last). And regards with the scent, if you would open the cover you can’t smell anything like every reviews I’ve heard/read/watched. BUT if you poured into cotton pad…since the product claims that it’s Fragrance-Free still there’s a mild…just a mild scent but it doesn’t harm your face, so it’s still okay.

How to use:
STEP 1: Pour – Saturate a cotton pad or ball with the product

STEP 2: Press – Gently press and hold, wiping the face, eyes, and lips in circular gesture

STEP 3: Proof – Repeat procedure as needed. No rinsing required

Then after wiping off the dirt on my  face…voila! (don’t mind the background)
Oh by the way…that was my 4th night of using it.

IMG_20180510_200300This is my face before using L’oreal Micellar Water (and with my baby on the side…haha). I’m so sorry about my selfie…I’m just trying to show you the before and after I use the product.

Well anyways…what I really like about the product?
It cleanses my face like you really wash off with water. Because I am a lazy type of person and dead tired at the end of the day (I know we’re all…). All I want to do is to get sleep but of course we can’t do that if we’re still wearing our makeup (that’s a big No! NO! for the ladies out there!).
It really removes my make up and the good thing is no need to rinse. You can feel sticky at first but after a minute you will feel the freshness on your face.
It really soothes my skin. Touch your face and you will notice the softness and you’ll also feel that it moisturized your skin. And if there’s something good about this product it has no sting and no ACNE BREAKOUT!!! Hell yes indeed mah’ men! This deserves a two thumbs up!

If I will recommend the product? Yes, of course! BUT…okay, there’s a big but at the end. If you wear a waterproof make up. You’ll be needing a lot of cotton pad to wipe off (so get ready for tons of cotton). I guess this only suitable for light make up.

Will I buy again the L’oreal Micellar Water? Definitely yes! Because this product got really what I wanted to happen on my face…it moisturized without feeling oily.
